Bill was born in St. Paul, Minnesota but grew up in La Jolla, California. He and his wife Loretta reside in Mission Hills where they raised their four children, and enjoy spending time with their two grandsons. Bill began working at the Ascot Shop while attending college at San Diego State University, eventually taking over the business. He has been at the Ascot Shop for over 35 years and is proud to have all four of his children working in the store. In his free time, Bill enjoys cycling and always looks forward to his annual backpack trip with his son Andy in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. He also loves taking his family on vacation to the town in Minnesota where he grew up.
